Many Utahns are looking for ways to engage productively with each other, both on and offline, for the purpose of addressing public needs and solving problems. In response, the Utah Common Ground Initiative will be organizing a multi-stage civic dialogue to discuss questions that are on many minds these days: What can Utah be doing to prepare for the increasing presence of AI in so many aspects of our lives? And how can we ensure AI’s effects are beneficial for the entire community?

Utah Common Ground will help citizens come together to identify issues of local concern, consider possible solutions, and take the necessary steps to achieve meaningful, measurable change. We're inviting people from across the state and from a wide variety of backgrounds and perspectives to be part of this discussion.
